Great little motel. My son and I were only.in San Francisco for the day and needed something clean and affordable for the night. This place was both. Freshly remodeled, friendly front desk. Beds were super comfy and clean. The shower was hot, and best of all your room comes with parking! I would 100% stay here again!
Great little motel. Super clean rooms, friendly staff and free parking, which you can’t find anywhere else in San Francisco. Beds were comfy and it was really nice to be able to grab a mocha cappuccino in the lobby. It’s really close to the cruise port so that was really nice. We would definitely stay here again.
Very cute, everything is updated and appears very well cared for. Loved the MCM style. No carpet, crisp clean sheets, large room with 2 king beds. Great central location. Gated free parking, it felt very safe. Would definitely reserve again!
I found a really good rate for this property on Booking.com and the hotel honoured it directly which was great since it meant they weren't having to pay expensive commissions to Booking.com. I found them very friendly and flexible right from that first encounter! The rave reviews and recently remodelled rooms didn't disappoint and we really appreciated the luggage storage flexibility. The linens were super soft too, I just seemed to constantly find myself with just a mattress pad or sheetless comforter, so may be helpful to tuck in to the mattress or have a buttoned up blanket cover? Could easily just be my restless sleep style So many great places to eat and drink around here including The Coffee Berry and Mel's Drive-In. Lombard really comes alive at night but the rooms are really quiet and ability to control in-room thermostat and have A/C is nice too. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and really loved the beautiful design.
Great location, easy walk to restaurants, coffee and Marina. Free parking was key-they even let our son park in the lot when he joined us for dinner. Room was very small but everything was clean and new. Suggestions would be better window coverings as light from outside came through shutters. Also the bathroom light went on automatically if we went in there in the middle of the night (easily fixed with a piece of tape to block the sensor). Overall this is a great bargain for the location if all you want is a place to sleep, shower and re-group during the day and don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room.
Updated rooms, loved being able to login to our Netflix account so we could watch what we wanted. Rooms are cozy, but very comfortable. Location for our needs was great, walking distance to restaurants and the like and easy access for driving to points of interest. Good value for the price, definitely would recommend.
Very nicely remodeled room and bathroom. Parking was very convenient and behind closed gates in the evening. Large screen TV and charging points at the bed side and the bed was very comfortable as well. Plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood.
It looks better inside than what it is look like outside, rooms are fully renovated with high quality accessories. room might be too small for some people but I used to live in small flat so its okay for me. it comes with free parking and the location is not bad too with some nice resturants within walkable distance. the down sides of the motel are the light from the bathroom, it is motion detecting light and it couldn't detect my movement when taking shower so i have to waving my hand out from with shower room like every 30 seconds, also the hot water is unstable which may not be hot enough for some people during the cold season. If they can fix the hot water and the light, I would like to give 5 stars for it
Compact room. Huge, comfortable bed. Nice bathroom and coffee making centre. Ground floor so no view. Despite the busy location it was quiet at night. Shower temperature could be a bit hotter. Extra blanket provided. Close to restaurants and corner stores. Great stay.
Nice and clean rooms. Although the shower was clogged, the hotel's personnel was very efficient on fixing it. Room service was also fast and efficient on our needs. The rooms smelled really nice and were very very clean. The location is also a good point, near by the touristic part of lombard st, the Marina, and full if public transportation around.
